Friday evening saw a packed house at Maduro Cigar & Bar with a guest appearance by cigar magnate Cynthia Fuente Suarez. No she didn’t just make a guest appearance but stayed the full event puffing on her Arturo Fuente cigar. Arturo Fuente is one of the most popular handmade cigars in the world and also one of the hardest to come by.
[1]Cynthia Fuente Suarez is part of the fourth generation of the Fuente family to be involved in the cigar industry. Her roots go back to Cuba where her great grandfather was a maker of cigars. Her grandfather, Arturo Fuente, Sr., began his cigar career in Cuba and later founded A. Fuente & Co. in Tampa in 1912. Her father, Carlos Fuente, Sr., is the Chairman of the Board of Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic.
