Medallion Home announced the acquisition of partially developed land in the City of Mount Dora, Florida. The land is approved for 454 of the 950 total lots in Lakes of Mount Dora, the only privately gated community in Mount Dora. Nearly all of the lots are lakefront. The expansion into Mount Dora is the first for Medallion outside of the west coast of Florida. Mount Dora is a quaint community located between Orlando and The Villages (Lake & Sumter Counties). Medallion picked the Mount Dora market because of its long standing history of culture and arts. Since 1984 Medallion Home has served a niche in the Manatee and Sarasota County market places as a semi-custom home builder.
