[1]The Players Theatre Announces The Addition Of A Chorus Line.
The Players Theatre announced the addition of “A Chorus Line” to its 82nd season line up. The musical will run February 16-26, 2012 in the 2011-2012 Broadway Show Series. The show joins “Seussical The Musical”, “Kiss Me Kate”, “It’s A Wonderful Life”, “Noises Off”, “Dear World” and “The Full Monty”.
Jeffery Kin will direct the production, choreographed by Berry Ayers, with Musical Direction by Joyce Valentine. Auditions will be held on November 19 and 20, 2011 and reservations are required. Call (941) 365-2494 to schedule a reservation.
In preparation of this labor intensive show, The Players will host a “Chorus Line Boot Camp” on the following Saturdays: June 18, July 16, August 6, September 3 and 17, October 1 and 15, and November 5, 2011. The classes will cost $10 and are designed to give those who plan to audition for the show a “leg up” on the competition.
