The doors open Wednesday, June 24, 2011, for Yellowcard and Good Charlotte at St Pete’s Jannus Live. Sometimes stepping away from something can remind how much you love it. Yellowcard‘s hiatus for the past few years was in no way an ending for the group, but rather a pause that’s revived the band’s passion for their music. Early last year Longineu Parsons began approaching his bandmates with the idea of beginning their fifth album — a follow-up to 2007′s Paper Walls. The sessions yielded the band’s strongest effort thus far, When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes. Yellowcard’s pop-punk contemporaries Good Charlotte have joined their friends for a co-headlining tour. Up and comers Runner Runner will open this exceedingly strong rock bill.
