The doors open Friday, August 5, 2011, for Lynch Mob at St Pete’s Jannus Live. Since the re-launch of Jannus, there’s been a chorus of hard-rock fans pressing them to bring in their favorite heavy acts from the 1980s.
Well how’s this for starters? Lynch Mob, headed by George Lynch, formerly of Dokken. As a guitarist, Lynch’s well-earned nickname is Mr. Scary. The man still has the metallic intensity and firebrand chops to raise the hairs on your neck. Lynch will be joined by original vocalist Oni Logan, bassist Robbie Crane and drummer Scot Coogan. This seasoned unit is sure to bring the noise to the Jannus courtyard.
