[1]Sarasota Silver Stars Performing Troupe Team Announced.
The Players Theatre announced the leadership team for the newly formed Sarasota Silver Stars 50+ performing arts troupe.
The troupe falls under the guidance of The Players Artistic Director, Jeffery Kin and Director of The Players Studio, Jolie Schroeder.
“We are very excited about the possibilities that The Silver Stars offer” says Artistic Director, Kin. “This top notch creative team, plus the vivacity of the newly blended groups offer unlimited artistic potential. Look for great things in the coming years!”
Leading the team will be local Actor, Director, and theatre enthusiast Berry Ayers serving as the Director/Choreographer of the troupe. Assisting him will be Broadway Pianist, teacher, and composer Michael Edelstein who has been selected to fill role of Musical Director. Additionally, longtime Players supporters, Cinda Goeken and Tim Minar have been tapped to act as the Support Team or Silver “Coaches”.
“I am thrilled and honored to be a part of the inaugural season of the Sarasota Silver Stars,” says Director/Choreographer Ayers. “I look forward to working and growing along with this amazingly talented group”.
