The South Florida Museum presents Waterlife as part of the Film Fridays Splash Series, 6pm on August 12, 2011.

“Waterlife” (2009) PG; 109 min. This lyrical documentary traces the flow and fate of the Great Lakes, the last huge source of freshwater on the globe, which supplies 20 percent of the earth’s fresh-water needs. As sewage, toxins and other forces attack these magnificent lakes, some scientists believe they are nearing an ecological breakdown.

There will be a selection of beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks available for purchase.  Please note: The theater may be cold, sweaters or jackets are recommended.  Admission is $5 General Admission, $3 Member Admission.
