The doors open Saturday, August 20, 2011, for The Supervillians at St Pete’s Jannus Live. In the spring, Jannus Live threw a lo-do show by one of the most beloved bands in reggae/ska/punk, The Supervillains, and the place was mobbed. The show was crazy fun and Jannus Live is doing it again.
The Supervillains’ newest album, Postcards from Paradise, released in January, is their best yet, blending grabby hooks with rock, ska and reggae beats, and, as always, projecting plenty of fun and attitude.
Opening will be Mighty Mongo, a Tampa Bay and Jannus Live favorite.
