Home Resource announced the latest in their play-reading series, Jack Gilhooley’s Playboy. The new 90 minute dark comedy is a contemporary American spin on the great John Millington Synge classic, Playboy Of The Western World. Actors participating in this reading including Jake Staley, Kelly Campbell, Dhakeria Cunningham, Lauren Wood, Annette Breazeale and Natalie Symons.

Gilhooley is one of most successful playwright living in the Sarasota area. In the play Henry, a bookish fellow, is enamored with beautiful Lily. Accidents follow Henry but Lily assumes that Henry has committed justifiably murders. Suddenly Henry takes on a new aura as Lily and other women of limited finances present erotic offers for the service of a hit man. Sex is a potent weapon but can Henry live on love alone?
