Moldings, Trim And Doors Galore For Habitat Sarasota ReStore!
Achieva Credit Union Donates To Habitat For Humanity Sarasota ReStore.
Habitat for Humanity Sarasota announced that Achieva Credit Union donated new building materials stored in a foreclosed commercial warehouse to Habitat for Humanity Sarasota’s ReStore. Nick Flerlage, a Realtor with ReMax Alliance Group facilitated the donation. “Habitat was the likely match for the donation.” He said.
Upon notification of the donation Habitat immediately began assembling Habitat volunteers to help. Bud Rives, a long time housing construction project leader designed the racks for the construction volunteers to build that would hold the molding and doors.
“It was a large donation that required a couple of weeks of advance planning. When Nick contacted us we immediately began to plan for the removal and hauling of the goods to our ReStore location on 17th Street where the new materials are now stocked and for sale to the public. We will also use the material in some of our Habitat homes. Habitat Sarasota is extremely grateful to Achieva Credit Union for this donation ” said Renee Snyder, Habitat’s Executive Director.
These items are now available at the 2095 17th Street ReStore in Sarasota.
