ASID Florida West Coast 3rd Annual Designer Digs

8 Outstanding ASID-Florida West Coast Designers’ Own Homes Open To The Public October 22-23, 2011 For The Third Annual Designer Digs.

For ASID FWC, a society of interior designers, what better way to raise funds for ‘Habitat for Humanity’ then to open our members’ own homes to the public for a weekend tour, complete with the homeowners/designers available to field attendees’ questions. It’s a rare opportunity into the homes & minds of these prominent ASID designers … how they have designed their own safe havens, their ‘DIGS’.

On October 22th & 23rd, 2011 from 11am and 4pm, the American Society of Interior Designers Florida West Coast Chapter (ASID FWC) will be opening the doors of 8 ASID designers’ own homes in the charming west coast city of Sarasota, Florida.

This unique venue moves through historic neighborhoods and dramatic tropical foliage-dense delights, including the sprawling Holladay Home, a notable Tim Siebert Architecture home. HGTV star, Jason Champion, will also be opening his own home, a recently renovated Florida block. Every stop will offer the tour guest the opportunity to meet and visit with each professional designer in their respective homes, while ‘designer’ vendors will be scattered throughout the tour to curb the guests’ appetites during their tour for decorating ideas. For those who enjoy great design, this is a dream tour! www.asidfwc.com [2]
