[1]Goodwill Manasota’s Donate & Change Lives School Donation Drive.
Sarasota Military Academy (SMA) will partner with Goodwill Manasota for the first annual “Donate & Change Lives” school donation drive. The week long donation drive begins on Monday, September 26th with the kick off at SMA’s morning revelry.
Over 820 Cadets will clean out their closets and fill Goodwill bags with gently-used clothing, shoes and books. The items will help fund Goodwill’s job training and placement programs helping people in our community.
A Goodwill trailer will be parked on the SMA campus to collect the donations through-out the week and on Friday, September 30th the bags will be weighed and counted. The class which collects the most donations will receive a pizza party compliments of Papa John’s Pizza located at 3080 17th Street in Sarasota. In addition, Sarasota Military Academy will receive a plaque from Goodwill recognizing their commitment to helping people with disadvantages in our community.
