The South Florida Museum presents Murderball as part of the Film Fridays Contenders Series, 6pm on September 23, 2011.
“Murderball” (2005) R; 85 min. Full contact rugby, played as you’ve never seen it before…in Mad Max-style modified wheelchairs! Follow several of the players and coaches of the US Paralympic Quad Rugby team as they talk frankly about their injuries, feelings in public, sex lives, competitiveness and love of the game.
There will be a selection of beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks available for purchase. Please note: The theater may be cold, sweaters or jackets are recommended. Admission is $5 General Admission, $3 Member Admission.
