Come celebrate National Child Health Day at the Lee Wetherington Boys and Girls Club Monday, October 3, 2011. Dr. Michael Gordon and Dr. Randall Morgan of Sarasota Orthopedic Associates will be on hand from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to present their healthy kids clinic.
Child Health Day was proclaimed in 1928 by Calvin Coolidge as a means of raising awareness of children’s health issues and to encourage healthy lifestyle habits including nutrition, fitness and injury prevention. Health professionals and organizations across America take part in this day through activities and events.
The Lee Wetherington Boys and Girls Club is located at 3100 Fruitville Road in Sarasota.
