Frida Ghitis, a world affairs consultant and columnist with Miami Herald, World Politics Review and others, will speak on “Israel’s Looming Global Changes, Risk and Opportunity”. The event takes place at 6:30pm, Tuesday, January 10th, at Michael’s on East, 1212 South East Avenue in Sarasota.
“A Discussion with Frida Ghitis” is presented by the Sarasota-Manatee Friends of American Friends of Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency disaster, ambulance and blood bank service.
Ghitis is a world affairs columnist whose articles appear in dozens of publications across the globe. In addition to the Miami Herald, where she writes a column distributed to hundreds of newspapers throughout the world, her work has appeared in the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Jerusalem Post, CNN.com and many others.
