Care2Tri is a vessel to help those with disabilities gain a sense of fulfillment by giving them opportunities that they wouldn’t otherwise have. We include them in the sport of triathlon. In doing so, our goal is to place them in the limelight and give them the respect they deserve as they are the true inspiration and heart of what we do.
We wish to inspire individuals to lead a more fulfilling life through the development of a passion. Whether the passion is biking or basket weaving, it has the potential to be much more rewarding if it’s used for the benefit of others. We believe that the key to sustained personal wellness, both physical and mental, is to set goals that extend beyond ones’ self and we hope to convince others of this so that they may lead a more fulfilling life.
Secondly, we wish to promote the inclusion of individuals with disabilities so as to provide them with the opportunities that they may not otherwise be able to have.
