Founder T.J. Nutter, a native of Sarasota, utilizes his extensive background in residential building and construction management in order to facilitate an ideal process for his clientele. “My business philosophy is that we’re approaching residential construction from a truly service-oriented aspect,” explains T.J. “Our clients aren’t limited to working with a site- or project manager; they have direct access to me.” T.J. notes that it’s imperative that he maintain ongoing involvement throughout the course of a build. “I’ve been a part of this community my entire life; my homes reflect my commitment to that.”

It’s a promise backed by experience and comprehensive industry knowledge. T.J. is highly qualified: a state-certified licensed home inspector, he is also licensed by the State of Florida as a building contractor and real estate sales associate. He is an accredited LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) professional as well. Years in the field have enabled him to build a trusted network of local subcontractors, whom he refers with each client’s specific needs in mind. “Everyone is different,” he observes. “I try to pair the right company with every individual, and I only refer people with whom I have completed business.”
T.J. is the 2011 Chairman of the Sarasota County General Contractor License Board, and is actively involved with the City of Sarasota Historical Preservation Board as well. He is a past president and lifetime director of the Manatee/Sarasota Homebuilders’ Association. “Giving my time to my industry is important, because building professionals play crucial roles in helping to sustain the beauty and character of our community,” he notes. “Through professional involvement, we also contribute to maintaining integrity within our industry.”
