The doors open Friday, February 17, 2012, for a concert at St Pete’s Jannus Live with Southside Johnny And The Asbury Jukes.
Jannus Live is proud to present American singer-songwriter Southside Johnny. Southside was the second act to emerge from the Jersey Shore music scene, after Bruce Springsteen, and is considered the “grandfather of the New Jersey sound.” He has released more than 10 albums and has worked with artists like Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi. Jon Bon Jovi has even claimed Southside as his “reason for singing.” According to a post on Southside’s official website in May 2011, he is recording a new album with the Jukes as well as working on an acoustic album.
