CMSA’s 20th Anniversary Is Here
Clifford M. Scholz Architects Celebrates 20th Anniversary And More.
Award-winning architect Clifford Scholz, Principal of Clifford M. Scholz Architects (CMSA), announced the celebration of firm’s 20th anniversary. Along with the anniversary comes a new business collaboration with his wife, interior designer, Susan Hritz Scholz, Principal of SHS Design and a newly renovated downtown studio for his talented staff.
After much thought the couple decided it was time to join forces in business as they have in life. “Originally, we hesitated to work together for fear of bringing work home with us each night. But before long, we realized that much of our work overlapped. Discussing our projects and supporting each other in business is just what we do. Combining our businesses was the next logical step,” says Hritz Scholz. The addition of SHS Design gives CMSA another prestigious service they can offer their loyal clients.
To make room for Susan and their growing team, CMSA leased a 4,466 sq ft building on South Orange Avenue from Williams Parker Harrison Dietz & Getzen. Their plan is to renovate the entire building giving Hritz Scholz and her staff their own separate design studio and providing much needed space for the architects. “This is a great opportunity for us to rejuvenate the company and take on new projects that we just were not able to accommodate in our old space,” says Scholz.
Construction work is scheduled to begin in early May. Plans for a 20th anniversary celebration and open house will be announced at a later date. For more information call (941) 923-2400 or visit www.cmsa1.com.
