[1]Cat Depot’s Shelley Thayer To Speak At Animal Care Expo.
Cat Depot announced their executive director, Shelley Thayer, will present at The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) Animal Care Expo 2012 in Las Vegas on May 22, 2012. Thayer will co-present “The Humane Exchange” at an Executive Directors’ Roundtable.
The forum will encourage collaboration on universal challenges that include; budgets, fundraising, volunteers, staffing, board relations, adoption options and social media. The course will include a closed Facebook forum for attending executive directors to share questions, information, and challenges, in a problem solving and secure environment.
HSUS offers resources to organizations and individuals across the nation and internationally. HSUS helps shelters acquire the tools they need to ensure long-term organizational stability and success in the dynamic environment of animal welfare, and serves as a resource for animal-related and emergency management organizations and others concerned about the needs of animals before, during, and after disasters.
