[1]Gloria Musicae Presents Sounds Of Freedom.
On July 4, Gloria Musicae, Sarasota’s all-professional chamber vocal ensemble under the direction of Dr. Joseph Holt, will present Sounds of Freedom, a spectacular concert of patriotic favorites. The program will be performed again at the invitation of the Amalfi Coast Music and Arts Festival in Italy.
Sounds of Freedom will highlight young soloist Maria Wirries in her first performance with Gloria Musicae and in her European solo debut. The program is a rousing all-American mix of spirituals, Broadway classics, and will feature the area premiere of The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere by American composer René Clausen.
