Salt & Light Productions Produces Supervisor Of Elections Video
Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Video.
Salt & Light Productions announce that it collaborated with Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections on a new entertaining and educational video campaign designed to inform voters about the availability of vote-by-mail (absentee) ballots and the precinct finder feature on the Supervisor of Elections website.
The PSAs were produced by Emmy and Telly Award winning Salt & Light Productions, a Sarasota-based company, and made possible by a cost-sharing grant from Salt & Light’s parent company, the Center for Faith and Freedom, Inc.
The videos, created for television, star a toddler giving tips on the convenience of voting by mail and encouraging voters who plan to vote at the polls to confirm their polling locations by using the precinct finder on the elections office website at www.SarasotaVotes.com. The 30-second videos are viewable on the Supervisor of Election’s YouTube channel.
“We have created a fun and informative way to remind voters to learn where their polling locations are prior to election day. Political redistricting and the renumbering and consolidation of precincts have affected voters in Sarasota County and across the state,” said Kathy Dent, the Supervisor of Elections for Sarasota County. Stuart J Roth, Founder/CEO of Salt and Light Productions added, ” We had a wonderful experience working with the entire team over at the Supervisor of Elections in creating this important campaign to educate voters in our community.”
A total of four videos have been distributed to Comcast, WWSB – ABC 7, and SNN for immediate airing. These include two 30-second and two 15-second spots – one each on mail voting and the precinct finder feature. One PSA will raise awareness about the benefits of voting by mail. For those who wish to cast their ballot in person, the other PSA will encourage voters to verify the location of their polling place before election day.
