[1]North Port EDC Announces New Board Member.
The North Port Economic Development Corporation (NPEDC) announced the addition of a new board member, David Jones, North Port High School Principal, was approved as an “ex officio” board member representing North Port High School. According to Jones, “I see the school fully invested in the community and the community fully invested in the school. Working together on the Board will afford the opportunity to do both.”
“We are excited that North Port High School will be playing a role in developing North Port’s economic strategy and welcome David’s enthusiasm and leadership. His education perspective will will help guide our organization into the future,” said Mimi Steger, North Port Economic Development Corporation President.
