Manatee Children’s Services And The 36 Hour Giving Challenge.
Manatee Children Services is 1 out of 300 non-profit charities included in the 36 hour Giving Challenge (Unleash your inner generosity!). This challenge was designed so everyone can be a philanthropist, everyone has the power to give, be a unique donor ( “unique” donor is one distinct person using one distinct credit card)…min. donation is $25.
The challenge starts at 7am on March 5th & continues until 7pm March 6th (36 hours).
All donations must be made on-line during the 36 hours & with a major credit card to: http://www.givingpartnerchallenge.org/, [2] click on MCS, make the donation.
During this time, there are $645,000 available for matching from 5 major local foundations, therefore the “early bird gets the worm”, we have a chance to double the donations from this…starting at 7am
VERY IMPORTANT! Other GRANTS that can be awarded to MCS:
1. first 50 donors who donate $50….$1,000 grant
2. most traffic to MCS profile,…$5,000 grant (QR code on business card, see attachment)
3. a donor who gives to the most non-profit sites, $1,000 grant for MCS if we are one of those sites
4. International donations, $1,000 grant
5. Business partnership with non-profit who help us raise the most money $5,000 grant (some of our business partners are: Top 10 SRQ, The Bearded Clam, Ramada, etc.)
6. overall BEST campaign, creativity (business cards, hand prints on canvas, being on a business location, face-book, Bradenton & SRQ patches, both chamber calendar’s, fliers, PROMOTING!!!) $5,000 grant
7. Finally: 1st place (most “unique” donors) $20,000
