[1]Ringling College Of Art And Design Creates New Line Of Bandages.
ASO Corporation, one of the world’s largest producers of adhesive bandages, recently launched a design contest for the students of Ringling College of Art and Design to create the look for a new line of decorative bandages. The overall winning designers of the contest were Kristina Oliva and Jessica Marinello, whose names will be included on the bandage box along with recognition to Ringling College of Art and Design.
The winning concepts will be manufactured locally by ASO and featured in Walmart stores. Currently, ASO has licensed bandages with Peanuts, Despicable Me, Garfield, Shrek and Rovio’s Angry Birds.
ASO further reinforced its longstanding, steadfast commitment to the community by calling on the students of the Ringling College of Art & Design to help expand its decorative product line. “There is such an incredible pool of talent right here in our own backyard in Sarasota,” said Katrin Pfitzenreiter, ASO Bandage Category Manager. “We are proud to introduce the exceptional work of these students to the nation through our ongoing relationship with Walmart stores.”
