[1]Goodwill Hosts Veterans & Families Jobs & Services Fair.
Goodwill Manasota encourages military members to attend the Veterans and their Families Jobs and Services Fair on September 7 at Ed Smith Stadium. More than 50 employers and service organizations will be in attendance and will be looking to hire qualified applicants during this free event. In addition, veterans are also invited to participate in two pre-hiring workshops on August 22 and 24 to prepare them for the fair.
The Veterans and their Families Jobs and Services Fair is sponsored by the Legacy of Valor and is a collaborative event between Goodwill Manasota, Suncoast Workforce Board and the Baltimore Orioles. Admission: Free. Open to all veterans and military spouses. Be dressed in business attire, bring plenty of up-to-date resumes and be prepared to interview.
The job fair will be preceded by a pre-hiring workshop organized by Chase Bank to prepare attendees for the event. The workshop will teach them how to prepare for interviews, explain work history, dress for success and more.
