Trust officer Sonya Dlug of Caldwell Trust Company was chosen as a member of the 2013-2014 Leadership Sarasota County Program, one of the programs operated by the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce to nurture and engage the leadership skills of potential and current leaders. She has just completed the 2012-2013 “Engage Sarasota,” another of the Chamber’s Leadership programs. In its acceptance letter for Leadership Sarasota County, the Chamber told Dlug, “Your selection from this year’s outstanding pool of applicants was based on your ability to achieve your personal and career goals, as well as your demonstrated commitment to the community.”
Dlug joined Caldwell in 2003 and became a full-time staff member in 2005 after earning her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Florida. She is responsible for day-to-day administration of trusts, which includes serving as wealth manager for trusts, IRA’s, estates and investment management relationships. She assists her clients with budgeting, estate planning, investments, taxes and legal matters in conjunction with their accountants and attorneys.
