The South Florida Museum presents 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea as part of the Film Fridays series, Water Ways, 6pm on September 20, 2013.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954) Not Rated, 127 minutes. A naturalist and a whaler sail the open sea looking for proof of a vicious narwhal (horned whale) attacking ships. Kirk Douglas leads a star-studded cast in this depiction of Jules Verne’s journey under the sea with Captain Nemo.
