Interior Design Society Hosts 3rd Annual Charity Benefit.
The Interior Design Society’s (IDS) Sarasota Chapter presents its third annual Party On The Pass at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron, on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 6 – 10 p.m. Over the last two years, more than $12,000.00 in proceeds from this event, has benefited the Trinity Charities and the Education Foundation of Sarasota County. Proceeds from this year’s event will again go to help these same two local nonprofit organizations.
According to local IDS Chapter president, Alan Gravley, “Party On The Pass is a really fun event in a beautiful setting at the Sailing Squadron on New Pass and overlooking Sarasota Bay. Each year has been a “sell-out!” Last year, as well as the year before, guests were eagerly looking forward to attending again.” Gravley continues, “The Interior Design Society is a close-knit organization of members helping members and we take pride in helping others in the local community.”
The event is open to the public and the Party On The Pass features a cookout, catered by Port-a-Pit Bar-B Que, a silent auction, Chinese Auction, live music and dancing to the sounds of The sToneFish Band.
Tickets are $30 per person in advance and $35 at the door, and include the barbecue and two beverage tickets, and $10.00 for children under 12.
