Mike & Tess Evanoff To Chair American Cancer Society Fundraiser.
The American Cancer Society announced the selection of Mike & Tess Evanoff to Chair the annual Greater Sarasota’s Cattle Barons’ Ball. The gala is scheduled for Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota.
Along with his father, Mike Evanoff is the owner of the Evie’s restaurants, the White Buffalo Saloon, Evie’s Car Wash, and Evie’s 1223 Parking. Evanoff’s White Buffalo Saloon is serving as a Presenting Sponsor for the event. Tess Evanoff is the owner of Spa Hollywood on Swift Road in Sarasota.
This year’s Cattle Barons’ Ball is the 13th annual event held in Sarasota. This Western-themed gala will feature a sit-down dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment, and dancing. Guests at past events have dressed in a delightful assortment of evening wear with a Western twist.
“We are honored and excited to be named to Chair this event,” explains Mike Evanoff. “There is a history of cancer in my family, and I appreciate the great work the American Cancer Society has done to combat this horrible disease. Tess and I are so happy that we can do our part to Finish the Fight against cancer.”
The Cattle Barons’ Ball is distinctive in that more than 80 cents of every dollar donated goes toward funding the critical mission of the American Cancer Society (ACS).
