Michael Saunders Commercial Division Gains New Agent.
Michael Saunders & Company announced that Ben Bakker has joined their Commercial Division. A lifelong resident of Manatee County, Bakker combines a wealth of community knowledge with an extensive background in commercial real estate. He also brings a diverse background in sales and customer service; along with strong community relationships established through years of professional networking.
In addition to his new role with Michael Saunders & Company, Bakker also serves as Vice President of HJB Properties, Inc., a family-owned commercial property enterprise. In this capacity, he oversees management, leasing and tenant relations for the multiple parcels of commercial real estate, office buildings and warehouses that his family owns throughout Manatee County.
A 2010 graduate of Leadership Manatee, Ben Bakker is committed to the continued growth, revitalization and redevelopment of his home community. He holds positions with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s Downtown Redevelopment Committee and the Manatee County Infill Redevelopment Taskforce, and was recently appointed by Mayor Wayne Poston to serve as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Bradenton.
In addition to his roles as chairman of the Manatee Young Professionals group and VP of the Leadership Manatee Alumni Association, Bakker also serves on the boards of three additional community non-profits.
