Broadcasters Club of Florida Off To A Good Start In 2014.
Ray Collins is already making strides as the new President of the Broadcasters Club of Florida. The club has a new webpage, a presence on social media, increased attendance at its meetings, is attracting a younger demographic and held its first-ever evening “networking mixer” that drew nearly one hundred people.
The club is primarily made up of local residents who work–or retired–from the broadcasting business. The roster includes former network executive as well as local on-air talent. Each month they meet over lunch to discuss the issues of the day, have a panel discussion, or hear from a wide variety of interesting speakers.
