This year’s 16th Annual “Thunder By The Bay” Motorcycle Festival benefiting Suncoast Charities for Children is a proud partner of The Patterson Foundation’s Legacy of Valor campaign. The event takes place January 9th-12th, 2014. We salute and thank all veterans and active duty military for their service and dedicate this year’s Festival to you and your families. A special hospitality tent will be located in J.D. Hamel Park from Noon – 5pm both days of the downtown Festival offering free soda, water, and snacks (must show military ID to enter).
A special thanks also goes out to our generous sponsors, volunteers, and to the many area motorcycle organizations for their continued help and support. Last year’s Festival generated an economic impact of $6.8 Million and 2,900 room nights, and won First Place in the Herald-Tribune’s Readers’ Choice poll as the best local fundraising event. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, so ride safe and enjoy everything our Festival has to offer. Legacy of Valor is a campaign honoring veterans and their families throughout Southwest Florida.
