Cat Depot To The Rescue

Cat Depot Shelters 30 Confiscated Cats.

Cat Depot reached out to assist in the care of 30 cats confiscated by Manatee County Animal Services earlier this week from a possible hoarding situation. Emergency sheltering was set up at Cat Depot in preparation of their arrival today.

Cat Depot is asking for volunteers to help with daily sheltering care (feeding, cleaning, and socialization). Two daily work shifts are available: 8:00 am to 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Volunteers interested in helping, please email Corey at CoreyR@catdepot.org [1], or call (941) 366-2404. Cash donations are also needed to help defray the cost of medical care and food.
