Cat Depot’s Corey Roscoe To Present At Florida Animal Control Association Conference.

Cat Depot announced that Corey Roscoe, Volunteer and Education Manager at Cat Depot, will present on behalf of the Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations (FAAWO) at the 2014 Florida Animal Control Association Conference. The conference is February 21-22, 2014, in Cocoa Beach, Fla. Roscoe will present a volunteer track entitled Teach Volunteers to Speak Your Language.

The mission of the Florida Animal Control Association is to cooperate with public agencies dealing in animal control and protection, to provide assistance to local animal organizations through supporting disaster planning and post-disaster operations, and to promote justice and equity in enforcement of local and state laws and regulations. Through this mission, the Florida Animal Control Association hopes to improve the methods and standards of the animal control and protection profession while informing the public of the importance of work performed by these professionals.
