By Becca Smith

Valentine’s Day is February 14 and celebrated around the world to recognize the love we have for that special someone. Women have become very conscious about fashion trends for this most special and romantic day. They want to know what would be the best of the dresses and outfits to put on to look smart, stylish and impressive to their special ones. A woman dressing up in her own favorite way is a fundamental part of her personality and look. In this issue REAL Style will share some HOT trends that will help women look their best this Valentine’s Day; trends that will last much longer than a bouquet of roses or box of chocolates.

From a fashion perspective, we can all agree that Valentine’s Day can get tacky – fast. My advice: Pick one or two festive-but-chic pieces and keep the rest of your look simple and refined. Whether you’re out with your special man or out with the girls look chic this Valentine’s Day in a girly bright red dress that’s oh so grown-up. A bright red dress is a no brainer. It gives homage to the holiday with its bold hue. Red is considered as a sign of love and affection. Wearing this color is the best way to symbolize love for your special one. Add a dash of fashion with classic: leopard … a coat, shoes or even a belt. Feeling more girly? Opt for pink. Other than red color, pink will also be the top hit color of Valentine’s Day Fashion Trends. Some floral designed pink colored tops and skirts will give a smart and trendy look to your personality, expressing the true and lively feelings to your loved one.

Get a little romantic with a floral dress this Valentine’s Day. The great thing about the print is that you can wear it all year round: wear again for a wedding, for example or pair with a blazer for work. A little black dress with red accents is also a good choose. Every woman has a little black dress in their closet. Pull yours out if you want no fuss. Show your romantic spirit with a dashing red lip, red nails or red pumps.

High heeled shoes, sandals, pumps and stilettos matched with red and pink colored outfits are an amazing part of Valentine’s Day fashion trends. Such kind of footwear will give an elegant and stunning look on Valentine’s Day. For this year’s Valentine’s Day, funky and colorful bracelets and earrings will go astounding when matched with red or pink colored dresses. To give a trendy and fashionable look to your personality, match hand bags and clutches with floral designs to your dress color. If you are not really going out for Valentine’s Day go for a casual chic look. A heart themed t-shirt, maroon pants, or a cool red leather jacket with jeans would be a great choice.
