On March 25, 2014 Vote Yes To Keep Sarasota County Schools at the top. Since 2002, Sarasota County voters have approved an extra 1-mill of funding that has made critical differences in student performance. Sarasota County can take pride in our children’s academic achievements. Our students earned the fourth-highest FCAT test scores in Florida. Our district is one of only five “A’-rated districts in the entire state. What’s more, our students outperformed the nation and state in 2013 SAT scores.
