Home Resource Presents IS IT FEASIBLE?
Home Resource announces that they are collaborating with two FSU/Asolo Conservatory 3rd year students to present IS IT FEASIBLE?, a one man show based on a group of stories written by popular Bulgarian satirist Chudomir. The performance is on Monday, April 28th at 7pm.
Asolo student Zlatomir Moldovanski has taken three of Chudomir’s short stories, translated them into English and adapted them to portray a man who moves from a village to the capital city where the realism of Communist Bulgarian life hits him.
According to the Bradenton Times “Moldovanski has created a thoroughly-entertaining and culturally-rich theater experience that kept the audience doubled over in laughter from start to finish.” And Jay Handelman in his review stated that “The piece is alternately funny and touching and constantly surprising.”
Zlatomir performs the role of the man and 3rd year student Ben Williamson is directing. The proceeds from this performance will be used to finance their joint efforts to tour this performance in other locations. One thing that is very exciting is that the play has been accepted into the United Solo Play Festival in NYC in October.
