Gateway Bank Hosts Meet The La Musica Musicians.
Gateway Bank of Southwest Florida hosted its annual “Meet the Musicians” event on the 1st of April to kick off the La Musica concert season. “The La Musica Festival is the epitome of Sarasota’s elite arts culture and has consistently brought the finest musicians from around the world to our community for the past 28 years, and we are delighted to host internationally renowned musicians to provide the public with an opportunity to mingle with them,” says Shaun Merriman, President and CEO of Gateway Bank. He adds, “Gateway Bank is proud to have supported La Musica for the past seven years, and we ask the public to continue to support this esteemed organization.”
Among those from La Musica in attendance were: Artistic Directors Bruno Giuranna (violist) and Derek Han (pianist), Jennifer Frautschi (violinist), Laura Zarina (violinist), Rebecca Albers (violist), and Antonio Meneses (cellist). The musicians performed excerpts from Mozart Sting Quintet in C Minor, K.406.
