Sarasota Seminole Club Supports Habitat For Humanity.
Members of the Sarasota Seminole Club took time out from their schedules recently to work on two current Habitat Sarasota housing projects, all the efforts were part of Seminole Service Day. The group of 20 divided their time and energy on Habitat’s first Veteran Build house and on another work in progress on Seward Street in Sarasota. Tasks that day included landscaping and roofing.
“As 2013 Club of the Year, the Sarasota Seminole Club continues to look for partnerships within our community to support the club’s mission and spread the Florida State University Seminole spirit. It was an honor to work with Habitat for Humanity, volunteering time on 2 homes in Sarasota, including the first Veteran Build.” said Frank Maggio, Club President.
