Hotel Indigo Appoints Director of Sales.
The Hotel Indigo Sarasota announced Shauna Ruby as Director of Sales for its 95-room hotel located at 1223 Blvd of the Arts. In her new role, Ruby will oversee the maintenance and development of new and existing business and leisure accounts and the sales of all hotel facilities.
”I look forwarding to working at Sarasota’s premier luxury boutique hotel,” said Ruby. “As the hotel’s new Director of Sales I intend to utilize my strong relationship base and years of experience to grow along with this respected team.”
With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, Ruby most recently served Director of Sales with the Marriott Corporation where she was recognized repeatedly for achievements such as securing the highest percentage of Revpar in the company. Ruby was also nominated for guest service excellence in conjunction with Visit Sarasota County’s National Tourism Week.
