Grants Enable Cat Depot To Offer Free Services.

Cat Depot announced it is the recipient of several grants with funding for spay/neuter for community cats, as well as personal cats. Limited funds are available through the month of July, or until funds run out, for free spay/neuter which includes Rabies vaccine and microchip. (Recipients must meet income restriction per grant guidelines.) To schedule an appointment, please contact Deb DeVogt at (941) 366-2404, or email at debd@catdepot.org [1].

“Spaying or neutering your cat ensures that she or he won’t contribute to the feline overpopulation problem,” said Shelley Thayer, Executive Director. “Even a cat who lives indoors may escape and produce kittens, if not sterilized. Every year, millions of homeless cats are euthanized. You can help reduce the killing by sterilizing your pet, or neighborhood strays. Please call us to learn how.”

Cat Depot, a nonprofit, 501(c)3 no-kill, free-roaming facility, is recognized for its progressive design and commitment to helping homeless, abandoned and injured animals. Open seven days a week, Cat Depot’s mission is to save lives, find loving homes, and provide the resources and education to improve the destiny of homeless cats.
