Actresses Sell Estate For $55 Million And Pocket $15 Million.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have flipped the Holmby Hills home (Near West Los Angeles) they purchased last January for $40 million and made a cool $15 million on the deal. The home was sold to Internet entrepreneur Sean Parker for $55 million.
The 13,511 sq ft mid-century modern-style residence is set on more than two acres of land and has a swimming pool, guest home and tennis house. It is an open design with glass walls, vaulted ceilings, six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a living room with library and an open chef’s kitchen.
