Mark Evans Joins Neal Communities.
Mark Evans, formerly of Pulte Group in Orlando, FL, has joined Neal Communities as vice president of land development for its Southwest Florida division. Evans has a civil engineering background and more than 10 years of experience in land development and community building. He holds a bachelor’s degree in technology from Ohio Northern University and a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Findlay.
“Evans will work closely with our already-assembled, top-notch land development team to position the company for future growth,” said Michael Storey, Neal Communities’ President. “He will be acquiring and developing communities that will allow us to serve customers with the best possible product. Evans’ experience working for a national homebuilder positions us well for the aggressive growth pattern we are embarking on due to continued and rapid sales,” said Storey.
“There are factors of success from a national homebuilding perspective that can certainly be applied to Neal’s effective model while still maintaining the key factors of the philosophy already in place,” said Evans. “There are some root characteristics of success in certain business models that we can implement and tweak while still maintaining Neal’s core values,” he said.
