SAR And MAR Set Stage To Merge.
The Sarasota Association of Realtors and the Manatee Association of Realtors announced an agreement to propose a merger creating the Suncoast Realtor Association. The merger requires membership approval – information about the meeting is below. To be part of this historic decision, cast your vote in advance by proxy (form available online HERE [2]) or in person at the Annual Meeting of the Members to be held on September 16, 2014 at 1 pm at SAR, 2320 Cattlemen Road, Sarasota, FL 34232, to discuss and vote on the proposed Merger pursuant to the Plan and Agreement of Merger, together with the Bylaws of the surviving entity, Suncoast Realtor Association, dated effective January 1, 2015.
