Casey Key Gulf-To-Bay Estate Sells For $6.2 Million.
A waterfront estate on Casey Key sold for $6.2 million. The gulf-to-bay property, located at 2016 Casey Key Road, was listed by Deborah Beacham of Michael Saunders & Company; and sold by Mark McCann and Camille Schwabe, also with Michael Saunders. The sale, which was the largest on Casey Key in over three years, is viewed as further evidence of the re-energized market for luxury properties on the barrier island just south of Sarasota.
“Sales on Casey Key have been steady, with 14 closed transactions thus far this year,” says Beacham, an authority in waterfront properties on Casey Key. “Four of the sales were above $3 million; with this latest sale of $6.2 million establishing what I believe will be strong forward momentum for the rest of the year. At the moment, Casey Key has six pending sales and one “active with contract” listed at $10 million, that is expected to close by month’s end.”
