Free Food And Special Release Beer At Darwins.
Darwin Brewing Co is hosting their first annual “Finchtoberfest” celebration at noon on Sat., Sept. 20 in conjunction with the opening of the annual Munich Oktoberfest in Germany. The event will include free food, live music and a special release German-style lager. Finchtoberfest is free and open to the public.
Darwin’s on 4th is catering the event, offering free food to guests from 2 to 6 p.m. with Chef Darwin Santa Maria grilling German bratwurst and Peruvian favorites.
Brewmaster Jorge Rosabal, trained and educated in Germany, will be on hand for tastings of his newly created Finchtoberfest Marzen Style Lager, a medium-bodied amber lager brewed in the Oktoberfest beer tradition. 13 Darwin Brewing Co. beers will also be on tap.
Limited edition Darwin Brewing Co. Oktoberfest beer steins will be available for purchase at $20 each, which includes one fill of Darwin Brewing Co. Finchtoberfest Lager. Through Oct. 5, guests can bring their stein to the brewery any day during regular hours for Finchtoberfest refills for $8.
