Video To Raise Awareness About Homelessness.
After losing her job, Angela struggled to keep up with her rent. Like many Americans, she lived paycheck to paycheck and had little in the way of savings. Before long, she found herself living in a pickup truck behind a grocery store.
But Angela does not fit many people’s notion of what homeless people are like. She is not addicted to drugs or alcohol. She also worked as a sign-twirler during the day and attended school at night in hopes of getting a better job so she can someday have a home.
She demonstrates that being homeless doesn’t mean you are lazy; Being homeless just means you need a hand.
