Sarasota Open Benefits KidsServe.com

KidsServe.com Is “Serving” Kids With Autism And Other Sensory Needs.

Jermiah Victor, 12 year old AMI resident and founder of KidsServe.com announced that attendees of the 2015 Sarasota Open have contributed $1,600 to help children in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Jermiah and his brother Nathanael play tennis and raise money for kid’s charities in Florida and around the world.

“To celebrate Autism Awareness month, we have a very special gift for our donors. For each donation over $25 a night light will be mailed to donors and $1 will be donated to Autism Speaks,” said Jenah Victor, aKa Mom and Community Outreach Specialist. Donations can be made online at www.KidsServe.com [1].

The money raised will be used to purchase Sensory belts. The weighted therapy belt helps promote self-calming, balance, and increased body awareness by enhancing proprioceptive feedback. Within minutes of wearing the belt children feel more grounded, focused, and secure. “I wear my belt and it helps me focus better on my school work,” said Jermiah’s little brother, Nathanael.
