Actor/Actress Couple Lists French Quarter $6.5 Million.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are selling their mansion in the famous French Quarter. They purchased the home in 2007 for $3.5 million, after spending time working on recovery efforts after Hurricane Katrina. The 7,645-square-foot home is listed for $6.5 million. The property is an 1830’s masonry home with a grand spiral staircase, custom marble mantels, and an elevator. There are no interior pictures available.
Pitt’s ties to New Orleans date to his days as the reluctant vampire, Louis, in Anne Rice’s “Interview With the Vampire.” After Katrina devastated the area Pitt started the Make It Right foundation dedicated to rebuilding homes in the Lower 9th Ward.
